The CD FOLK SONG has just been released!

In August 2011 the New Zealand soprano Lauren Armishaw, The Gent's singers Elbert & Rienk de Jong and the brothers Sybolt & Euwe de Jong recorded a CD of arrangements of sad, brutal, funny and nostalgic folksongs.

De Jong & De Jong accompany the three vocalists with the melancholy sound of four harmoniums borrowed from the Harmonium Museum Bargercompascuum. 

The recording took place in the Catholic Church in Veenhuizen.
